This evening Patty and I ventured to the Ducks Unlimited Pond (Roberta Stewart Park) near Port Lambton and found this family of Mute Swans out for a swim. The Cygnets are 5 weeks old.

The Forget Me Not is the floral branding for the Alzheimer's Society. They are planted in memory of my dad.

Laura gave me a tray of multi-coloured pansy's for Mother's Day to plant in my pots. I love them so much, they make me smile. They remind me of my Mum's gardens from my childhood.

This time of year the new leaves are so vibrant. This Japanese Crimson Maple is one of my most favorite trees.
