The Lamp Goes Out

The sun sets on yet another wonderful and relaxing winter spent in Florida. Our time this year was full of adventures and new experiences. We enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to do a threepete  for 2014 and like Arnold said," I'll be Back!"

Daddy Brought Home Dinner

One of the adult bald eagles went fishing in the canal and brought a huge fish back up into the nest for the two juvenile eagles. It then perched itself above the nest and preened and fluffed out it's wet feathers. It took about 1/2 hr to fully dry off.

Colbert Report

I set out to find the legendary nesting pair of Bald Eagles at the BMX Park in Cape Coral and found them. One of the adults flew right past me and perched in the pine tree right beside the road. It is looking across an open field to another pine tree where it had two juveniles in the nest.
